Pari Elavazhagan 's Tamil romantic family entertainer ' Anbe Diana ' is all set to arrive in theatres on July 17. Anbe Diana centres on the relationship between a conservative Telugu youngster and an Anglo-Indian girl. The story unfolds in Perambur, with the locality playing a significant role in shaping the narrative.

Ahead of its theatrical debut, the film received its first public review which described it as a clean family entertainer that blends romance with an emotional message.

Sharing his review on X, Sreedhar Pillai wrote, "#AnbeDiana Review : Romantic Family Entertainer. My Rating : 3.5/5. A crackling clean feel-good family romcom from actor & director @PariElavazaghan that holds your interest till the end. It is a cross-cultural narrative of a Hindu boy from a conservative background falling for an Anglo-Indian girl. The milieu is Perambur which acts as the backbone of the story with its popular landmarks enhancing the narrative."

The review further reads, "Pari the actor & director has done a decent job while @RamyaRanganathn in the heroine role is pure ‘Magic’ on the screen. Roja, Chetan,Partithangal Gopi provide solid support. The film could have been crisper. Overall a light-hearted fun film with a neat message about what happens when two people from contrasting backgrounds and culture fall in love!"

Cast and technical teamThe film features Pari Elavazhagan and Ramya Ranganathan as the lead pair. The supporting cast includes Chetan, Roja, Parithabangal Gopi, Cell Murugan, Nikhila Sankar, Ismath Banu, and Sudharshan Gandhy. Apart from starring in the lead role, Pari Elavazhagan also wrote and directed the film.

Bharath Sankar composed the music, while Shelley Calist handled the cinematography.


Judging by the first review for 'Anbe Diana', audiences can expect another decent family entertainer from Tamil cinema this year, similar to 'Tourist Family' or 'Youth'.
