Patna. There is a relief news for the people who are facing problems to getting ration card made in Bihar. The state government has made it clear that no eligible family should be deprived of the benefits of government ration and other welfare schemes, for this a special campaign will now be run at the Panchayat level. The aim of the government is to make ration cards available to more and more eligible people and make the application process easier.

Special camps will be organized in Panchayats

The Food Supply and Consumer Protection Department has indicated that special camps will be organized at the Panchayat level in the coming times. Through these camps, problems to application of new ration card, verification of documents and other problems will be resolved. Along with this, necessary guidelines will also be given to Panchayat representatives, so that they can identify the eligible families of their area and assist them in getting the benefits of government schemes.

Government benefits to eligible families

The government says that there are many families who, despite being eligible, have not yet been able to get ration cards made or are not able to avail the benefits due to some technical reason. Through special camps, such families will be helped in applying and completing the necessary formalities. The objective of this initiative is to ensure that no eligible citizen of the state is deprived of the Public Distribution System (PDS) and other government facilities to it.

Many important issues raised in public hearing

During the public hearing programme, the government also listened to the problems of the common people and gave instructions to the concerned departments to solve them. Apart from ration cards, matters to social security schemes and other public welfare programs were also discussed.

Relief for pension beneficiaries also

The government has also given important information under the Social Security Pension Scheme. The cases of those beneficiaries whose pension amount has not reached their accounts due to technical reasons or life authentication problem, are being investigated separately.
