The Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) has announced recruitment for the posts of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer; the application process began on July 15. **Eligibility and Criteria**
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or a three-year diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, depending on the specific post. Additionally, the candidate's age must be at least 21 years and not exceed 30 years.
**Application Fee**
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹850. The fee can be paid online. SC, ST, PH (Physically Handicapped), and female candidates are exempt from the application fee.
**Documents Required for Application**
Along with filling out the application form, candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents. Candidates are advised to have these documents scanned and ready in advance:
Mark sheets for all required educational qualifications.
Date of Birth certificate or Matriculation certificate.
For Ex-servicemen: Service discharge certificate, service copy of the pension PPO, and a copy of the Ex-serviceman identity card.
For widows, divorced women, legally separated women, or transgender individuals: Documentary proof must be submitted. A self-declaration regarding 'non-remarriage' must also be submitted.
Caste certificate for reserved posts.
Non-Creamy Layer certificate (OBC).
Eligibility certificate for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.
Physical disability certificate. For departmental candidates, an NOC from the Chief Executive Officer of the Delhi Cantonment Board.
Valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Passport).
A self-declaration certifying that no criminal case is pending against them and that no punitive action has been taken against them by any court, etc. If a criminal case is pending or a conviction has been handed down, the candidate must disclose this information.
Selection Process
Selection for this recruitment will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The examination will be conducted for a total of 120 marks. Candidates are advised to review the official notification for further details regarding the recruitment.
