The new restaurant will offer the same menu as its first outlet, including signature items such as the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and Chick-fil-A potato fries, and the expanded menu introduced in June featuring the Frosted Lemonade and Frosted Coffee.
The outlet will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closing on Sundays per a company tradition established by its founder, who believed employees should have one day each week to rest, spend time with their families or attend worship.
Running the Millenia Walk outlet is Deborah Ku, a 40-year-old local whose experience in Singapore’s food scene includes two decades working at her family’s buffet restaurant Penang Place, according to the company’s press release.

Founded in the U.S. in 1946, Chick-fil-A is best known for its chicken sandwiches. It is the third largest quick-service restaurant company in the U.S. and operates more than 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Last month, it ranked second among the top 10 quick-service restaurant chains in U.S.
The chain employs a distinctive franchise model under which it shoulders most of the startup costs for franchisees, whom it refers to as owner-operators.
In return, franchisees pay a franchise fee, rent, a base operating fee and a share of the outlet’s profits. They are also expected to be actively involved in the day-to-day running of their restaurant and are typically not allowed to open more than one outlet.
Singaporean Chyn Koh, 49, who operates the first Chick-fil-A in Singapore that was opened late last year at the Bugis+ mall, had to go through seven interviews over seven months to secure the role, 8days reported.
