OnePlus is preparing to expand its budget N Series in the Indian market. Just a few weeks after launching OnePlus N6, the company has now started teasing OnePlus N6x. A dedicated microsite for the phone has also gone live on Amazon India, indicating that the smartphone will be launched in India soon.

Although the company has not yet revealed the launch date, price and design of the phone, it is believed that it will be launched keeping in mind the customers of the budget segment.

Right now, details about the N6x are still scant. The Amazon India page only says “Coming Soon”, and no specs, design images, pricing or launch date have been revealed yet. However, according to tipster Yogesh Brar, OnePlus N6x “Familiar Specifications” Will meet. This means that it could be a slightly modified version of the OnePlus N6 or could be based on an existing device from OPPO and Realme, so that its price can be kept low.

Since OnePlus N6x will be placed in the category below OnePlus N6, some cost-cutting may be seen in it. According to reports, the smartphone may feature a slightly less powerful processor, while the larger battery, 6.75-inch HD+ (720p) LCD display and 50MP primary camera are expected to remain intact. Apart from this, the company can launch it at a budget-friendly price. However, all these features have not been officially confirmed at the moment and are subject to change at the time of launch.

OnePlus N6 was launched on 30 June 2026. Its starting price was kept at ₹ 22,999. The phone had an 8,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging, 6.75-inch 120Hz LCD display, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor and 50MP primary camera.

Company can also bring 4G phone priced below ₹16,000
According to another report, OnePlus is also preparing to launch a 4G-only smartphone in India. It is being told that the company wants to reduce the cost by removing 5G hardware, so that the price of the phone can be kept below ₹ 16,000. At present it is not clear whether this 4G smartphone will be OnePlus N6x or a different model. No official information has been shared by the company in this regard.
