had showcased the Shotgun 650 custom build by Taiwan-based Rough Crafts at the 2025 EICMA. It was inspired by the Caliber Royale custom bike. The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts version was also later showcased at Motoverse 2025. Royal Enfield had stated that the custom bike will be introduced as a limited edition model, with only 100 units available globally. Registrations are now open for the Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition, with just 25 units available for enthusiasts in India.

With just 100 units available globally and only 25 in India, Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition is essentially positioned as a collector’s edition. This special edition gets a range of distinctive features, which work to enhance the bike’s classic character. One of the standout features is gold-leaf striping, which can be seen on the front fender, fuel tank, side panels and rear fender.

Combination of black and golden striping makes for an exciting contrast. The gold-leaf striping is paired with subtle grey strokes for added dynamism. On the fuel tank, this factory custom bike gets a cast brass Rough Crafts collaboration badge. On the fuel tank, each of the 100 special edition bikes gets a unique number from 1 to 100.
Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition uses an exclusive colour theme of gloss jet black and matte stealth black. Other key highlights include black bar end mirrors, premium quilted leather seat, contrast cut alloy wheels and inner fork tubes in golden finish. Most other features and equipment are largely the same as the standard Shotgun 650. Owners will also get an exclusive bespoke poster, featuring this special edition bike. This poster will be hand-signed by Winston Yeh, the founder of Rough Crafts.

How to register for Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition?
Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition will be available for booking only to enthusiasts who register for the ‘drop’ sale in advance. This custom build model will not be available through the standard retail process. Globally, there are only 100 units for sale. India gets 25 units, and similar units are on sale in the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Registration process is currently open globally. It can be done on Royal Enfield’s official app or on their website. Buyers in India have time till July 30 to file their registration. The drop sale in India is scheduled to start at 7 AM, 30th July, 2026. Only users who have completed the registration process will be allowed to participate in the sale.

If selected, users will be informed via a confirmation email. In the next step, users will need to visit the selected dealership within 48 hours to pay the booking amount. Across other global markets, the drop sale will be conducted in a staggered manner from July 27 to July 30. Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts edition is priced at Rs 5.75 lakh. In comparison, the standard model is available in the price range of Rs 4.01 lakh to Rs 4.16 lakh.
