The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has postponed the Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) recruitment examination, which was scheduled for July 28. According to the Commission, the exam will now be held on August 19. Additionally, the UPESSC has extended the application deadline, allowing candidates who missed the original July 10 cutoff—for whatever reason—to apply; the new deadline is July 20.
UPESSC had issued Advertisement No. 51 on April 28, 2026, for 107 vacant Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) posts, and candidates had been preparing for the exam ever since. A notification issued by the Deputy Secretary of the UP Education Service Selection Commission states that the exam was postponed due to the extension of the application deadline.
