**What the IRCTC Beta Website is Like**
The interface of IRCTC's new beta website is quite impressive. Options for ticket booking are available right on the homepage, alongside options for checking PNR status and train schedules—features that are frequently needed by travelers and are easily accessible here.
When you search for a train by selecting the source station and date, a new interface opens. The experience feels similar to booking an airline ticket; you are presented with train options across all classes simultaneously. At the top, you can see different dates, allowing you to search for train tickets for other days. Clicking on train availability displays the seat status for all classes at once, along with the ticket fare.
**All Options in One Tab**
Navigating to the 'Trains' tab at the top of the site gives you access to all relevant options in one place. These include Book Ticket, IRCTC Train (Group Booking and Insurance Claim), PNR Enquiry, Cancel E-Ticket, Train Schedule, Track Your Train (Live Train Status), FTR Coach/Train Booking, Dog/Cat Booking, Link Your Aadhaar, Counter Ticket Cancellation, Counter Ticket Booking/Pointer Charges, and the IRCTC Official Mobile App.
Additionally, options for food booking ('MEALS') and the E-Wallet are available at the top. The 'OTHER' option provides access to bus, flight, and hotel booking services.
