Exclusive: AI Sales Intelligence Startup Reo.Dev Raises $11.3 Mn To Expand In US

AI-powered sales intelligence startup Reo.Dev has raised $11.3 Mn (about ₹109 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from existing investors Heavybit and India Quotient, as the startup looks to deepen its presence in the US and accelerate development of its AI-powered go-to-market platform.

The round also saw participation from angel investors, including Gokul Rajaram, along with select customers of the startup.

The fresh capital will primarily be deployed to expand the startup’s sales and marketing operations in the US, which accounts for the majority of its business, while also accelerating product development, cofounder and CRO Piyush Agarwal told Inc42.

“We are expanding big time into the US, which is our biggest market, while continuing to invest heavily in AI product development because AI has fundamentally changed how companies approach go-to-market,” Agarwal said.

Founded in 2023 by Achintya Gupta, Gaurav Jain, and Scholr cofounder Agarwal, Reo.Dev operates an AI-powered sales intelligence platform for software companies selling to developers, engineering teams and other technical decision makers.

The startup analyses developer activity across more than 30 public platforms, including GitHub, Docker Hub, Stack Overflow, Reddit, and Hacker News, to identify buying intent and help enterprise sales teams target prospective customers. It combines these signals using proprietary AI models trained for technical go-to-market use cases.

According to Agarwal, Reo.Dev’s key differentiator is its proprietary data infrastructure.

“We are sitting on more than 100 Mn developer profiles and over 90 Bn intent signals collected over the last three years. That data is our moat,” he said.

Reo.Dev claims to serve more than 200 customers across over 40 countries, with nearly two-thirds of its revenue coming from the US and most of the remainder from Europe. Its customers include NVIDIA, Palo Alto Networks, ElevenLabs, Nebius and Temporal.

The startup currently employs about 75 people, with the majority of its workforce based in India. Going forward, it plans to further strengthen its offerings for AI infrastructure, developer tooling and cybersecurity companies while expanding its US footprint.

The latest funding comes about a year after Reo.Dev raised $4 Mn in a seed round led by Heavybit with participation from Antler, Boldcap and angel investors. Prior to that, it had raised $1.2 Mn in a pre-seed round led by India Quotient.

Reo.Dev operates in the increasingly competitive AI-powered sales intelligence market, where it competes with established revenue intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Apollo.io, alongside a growing cohort of AI-native startups building software for go-to-market teams.

The funding comes amid sustained investor interest in AI startups. Yesterday, Emergent became a unicorn after raising $130 Mn, while Sarvam joined the $1 Bn+ valuation club last month.
