Weather Update 16 July 2026: On July 16, 2026, the weather patterns are going to show different colors from North India to Central India. At some places, rain and thunder will provide relief, while at other places humidity and heat will trouble people. Delhi-NCR: Movement of clouds, but heat persists

The maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR on July 16 is expected to be around 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 27 degrees Celsius. The sky will be partly covered with clouds. At present no warning has been issued. Similar weather is likely to prevail for the next three-four days and the temperature will remain around 38 degrees.

Uttar Pradesh: Rain in many districts, heavy rain expected at some places

The weather patterns will change in Uttar Pradesh on July 16. There may be light to moderate rain with thunder in many districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Prayagraj. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Prayagraj. There may be humidity amidst clouds in Agra, Meerut and Western UP. The maximum temperature will be between 34 to 38 degrees Celsius. There are indications that intermittent rain will continue in many districts in the coming days.

Bihar: Impact of thunder and lightning in Patna, Aurangabad and southern districts

In Bihar, there is a possibility of one or two rounds of rain and thundershowers in Patna, Nalanda and Aurangabad. Ara and Buxar will remain cloudy with light rain. The impact of rain may increase further in Purnia in the next days. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 32 to 37 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state.

Jharkhand: Alert of rain and strong wind in many districts

Ranchi, Deoghar (Baidyanath Dham), Simdega, Daltonganj and surrounding areas may receive rain and thundershowers on July 16. There is also a warning of strong wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour and lightning at many places. The temperature will be between 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to remain like this for the next two days also.

Madhya Pradesh: Chances of thunder and lightning along with rain

There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers amid partly cloudy sky in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain on July 16. There is also a possibility of lightning in many areas. The maximum temperature can range between 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. The rains are likely to continue from 17th to 19th July also.

Rajasthan: Relief for now, but signs of change

The weather will be normal in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur on July 16. It will be partly cloudy at most places, while Udaipur may experience light rain or drizzle. The temperature will be between 34 to 39 degrees Celsius. There is little possibility of major changes for the next few days.

Maharashtra: Moderate rain in Mumbai, rain activity will increase in Pune.

Moderate rain is expected in Mumbai on July 16, which will provide relief to people from the heat. Pune will also remain cloudy and rain activities are likely to intensify in the next two-three days. The maximum temperature of Mumbai is expected to be around 32 degrees and that of Pune is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius.

Know the weather trend of the next few days

There are indications that rains will continue in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand even after July 16. The impact of thunderstorms and strong winds may persist in many areas of Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. At present there are less chances of heavy rain in Delhi, but the movement of clouds will continue. The weather will remain relatively calm in Rajasthan, while rain activities will continue over coastal areas of Maharashtra.
