Huawei Flagship Phone: Huawei has officially launched Huawei Pura 90s Pro and Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max, expanding its global smartphone portfolio. The company introduced both these flagship smartphones during a launch event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both the smartphones are coming with premium features like Kirin 9030S chipset, EMUI 16, 6000mAh battery, IP68/IP69 rating and wireless fast charging. But both the models are different from each other in terms of display size, camera setup and charging speed. For now, both the smartphones are available for pre-order in Malaysia and the company says that they will also be launched in other global markets in the coming months.

Price and variants

The price of 12GB + 256GB variant of Huawei Pura 90s Pro has been kept at MYR 3,699 which is around Rs 87,200 while the 12GB + 512GB variant will be available at MYR 3,999 which is around Rs 94,200. Whereas the price of 12GB + 512GB model of Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max is MYR 4,899 which is around Rs 1,15,400. Along with this, the company has introduced Pura 90s Pro in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black colors. Whereas Pro Max can be purchased in Blush Gold, Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple and Graphite Black finish.

200MP camera and AI features become the biggest strengths

Talking about the features of Huawei Pura 90s Pro, it has a 50MP primary camera, 12.5MP ultra-wide and 50MP macro telephoto camera. Whereas Pro Max has a 40MP ultra-wide and powerful 200MP telephoto camera. Both the smartphones are equipped with advanced camera features like 13MP autofocus selfie camera, 4x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, AI Composition and AI De-glare.

Talking about software, both the phones run on EMUI 16, in which the company’s Celia AI Assistant is provided. It supports route planning, reminders, schedule management, voice calls and many smart AI features.

6000mAh battery and 100W charging power

Both smartphones have a 6000mAh battery. The Pura 90s Pro gets 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging while the Pro Max supports 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. Apart from this, both the phones have 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, 5G, NFC, in-display fingerprint sensor and many advanced sensors. The company has also provided Kunlun Anti-Reflective Glass in Pro Max, which is claimed to reduce reflection on the screen and also improves scratch and drop resistance. Considering the premium features, both these smartphones of Huawei can give a tough challenge to brands like Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi in the flagship segment.
