Actress Malavika Mohanan recently revealed that she is playing a special cameo in the upcoming Tamil film ‘ Idhayam Murali ’ starring Fahadh Faasil . She also shared her first look as a Tamil bride by posting behind-the-scenes photos from the sets.

Malavika Mohanan becomes a brideSharing the pictures from the sets, Malavika Mohanan took to her X handle, where she revealed that actress Sai Pallavi helped her with the outfit. She looked beautiful in a traditional Tamil bride's attire. She wore a silk saar, temple jewellery, jasmine flowers and classic bridal accessories.

She wrote, “My favourite things about it were. Getting to dress up as a Tamil bride. @pallavi_85 this is the first time you've dressed me up for a film after 'Master' and it was so lovely doing this pretty look together.”

Malavika Mohanan and Fahadh Faasil’s friendshipThe pictures also featured happy moments with Fahadh Faasil. The film marks the first time the two actors have shared screen space together. “Doing a fun scene with Fafa. We've been friends since years and keep talking about finding the right film to do together but for now this cameo will have to suffice, I guess. Working with the young, fun crew of 'Idhayam Murali' fully felt like being-back-in-college energy," she further added.

Malavika Mohanan revealed that she and the ‘Pushpa’ actor have been close friends for many years. The two had often spoken about working together in the right film. Although the full project is yet to happen, this special cameo has finally given them a chance to appear on screen together.

Malavika Mohanan’s work frontSpeaking of her work front, she was last seen marking her Telugu debut in the Prabhas-starrer horror comedy drama, ‘ The Raja Saab ’. The film also featured Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar as the leading ladies. Released in January, the film turned out to be a huge disappointment despite its hype.

Looking ahead, Malavika Mohanan will next be seen alongside Vijay Sethupathi in ‘ Pocket Novel ’. She also has ‘ Sardar 2 ’, in which she stars opposite Karthi.
