Dalljiet Kaur reveals she's no longer chasing acting; says, 'Now they should look for me'

After a challenging phase in her personal life, actress Dalljiet Kaur is embracing a fresh start both personally and professionally. While she has launched a new silver jewellery brand and is looking forward to its future, the actress says she is no longer interested in chasing acting opportunities.
Speaking on Pinkvilla’s podcast, Dalljiet shared that she has already proved herself as an actor and now believes the industry should come looking for her instead.
She said, “Ek naya brand launch kiya hai maine, silver ka. Toh ek nayi umeed hai, I think, ek future ki.” Clarifying that she hasn’t quit acting, Dalljiet added, “Acting ko chhoda nahi hai, lekin ab acting ko chase nahi karne ka dil.”
The actress said she feels she has done enough work for people to recognise her capabilities. “Ab mujhe lagta hai ki ab itna kaam kar liya ki logon ko samajh mein aa gaya ki Dalljiet kya karne layak hai, kya karti hai. Abhi I am not looking at them. Ab mujhe lagta hai ki unhe mujhe dhoondhna chahiye.”
Briefly speaking about the support that helped her move forward, Dalljiet said, “I think the most important thing in everyone’s life is family. I’m very lucky that my family welcomed me with open arms. They never made me feel, even for a second, that I wasn’t coming back to my own home. When a girl gets that kind of strength from her family, I don’t think there’s anything that can stop her.”
Talking about her entrepreneurial journey , she concluded, “Baaki silver ka jo business shuru kar rahi hoon, ab uske liye kuch umeed, kuch dreams shuru hue hain.”
