Admissions Limited to Approved Seats
The NMC has clearly stated that admissions in any medical college will be restricted to the number of officially approved seats; in other words, no medical college may admit students beyond its sanctioned capacity. The list has been prepared based on the seats approved up to July 13, 2026. The MARB clarified that this seat matrix is based on approvals granted up to July 13, 2026. Should there be any subsequent changes or revisions to a medical college's seat count, the MARB will issue a new order (letter) to the respective college, and the updated seat matrix will be uploaded to the NMC website. **Process to be completed within 7 days**
Private medical colleges granted approval by the NMC to start new institutes this year must submit an electronic bank guarantee (E-Bank Guarantee) within seven days.
