The future of RB Leipzig’s young sensation Yan Diomande continues to generate significant attention, with uncertainty still surrounding whether the 19-year-old will remain with the Bundesliga side beyond this summer.

Last month, reports surfaced suggesting that Diomande had already agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain. However, according to Sport Bild, the reigning French champions are not the only club to have received the youngster’s approval to negotiate a move.

Diomande has reportedly given the go-ahead to several prominent European clubs, with Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United all confident that they are in a strong position to secure his signature, the report claims.

So far, Liverpool are the only club to have submitted an official offer. The Merseyside club put forward a bid worth €80 million, including an additional €20 million in performance-related add-ons. RB Leipzig, however, turned down the proposal.

Although other interested clubs are said to be considering formal bids, none appear willing to exceed the €100 million mark for the teenager, according to the same report.

Given that Leipzig are reportedly holding out for an offer of at least €120 million to even consider selling Diomande, the German club remain firm in their resolve to keep him for now. Instead, they are working towards convincing the youngster to extend his stay by offering him an improved contract.

How Diomande responds to Leipzig’s stance remains to be seen. While he had earlier indicated a willingness to remain with RB Leipzig for another season, his comments during the World Cup suggested a clear expectation that he would move on from the club in the near future.
