Kota Food Poisoning: A very shocking and scary news has come out from Kota district of Rajasthan. The health of about 115 school children suddenly deteriorated after consuming contaminated water in Polai Khurd village under the Simaliya police station area. Parents started running towards the hospital in distraught condition with their children. The district administration and the health department were left stranded due to such a large number of children becoming victims of food poisoning at one time. A team of senior officials and doctors were hurriedly dispatched to the village.

Innocent children started suffering after drinking hot water

According to the information received, this entire incident took place in Polai Khurd village. Here the children had eaten paani patas with great relish from a local street vendor outside the school. This taste of taste became a disaster for the children within a few moments. Shortly after eating Golgappa, the children complained of severe stomach pain. After this the children started vomiting and having diarrhea continuously. Within no time, dozens of children, one after the other, sat on the ground and started writhing in pain. When the villagers saw this condition of the children, they were stunned. Without wasting any time, he immediately informed the local administration and health department about this serious situation.

Medical staff reached the village, chaos broke out in the hospital

Seeing the seriousness of the case and the large number of children, Subdivision Officer and Block Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajesh Samar immediately reached Polai Khurd village with a large team of doctors. More than a dozen seriously ill children were immediately loaded into an ambulance and admitted to Simlia Community Health Centre. At present the children are being treated in the hospital under the special supervision of doctors. For those children whose condition was slightly normal, an emergency medical camp has been set up in the village itself. Doctors are alert in the village itself so that the condition of any child does not worsen.

Door-to-door survey started

The medical department has used all its strength to prevent this terrible infection and control the situation. Several teams of ANM and Asha associates have been deployed in the village. These teams are conducting door-to-door surveys in the entire Polai Khurd village so that if any other child is ill, he can be identified in time and given immediate treatment. Initial investigation has revealed that the cart operator who fed the children with contaminated water is a resident of nearby Sholi village.

For food samples

The administration has immediately taken strict action in this matter. A special team of the Food Safety Department has been immediately sent to Sholi village. This team is visiting the addressee’s house and his shop and checking all the food items. Along with this, samples of contaminated water and spices used in Golgappa are also being taken. Officials say that the real causes of food poisoning will be known after the lab report comes. Preparations are being made to take strict legal action against this cart operator who is playing with the health of children. At present the condition of all the children is being monitored.
