Gurbaz has had a stellar season for the Knights in Shpageeza Cricket League 2026. Sitting at the top of the run charts, he ended his run in the 2026 edition of the competition, having scored 410 runs in eight games, averaging 68.33 and striking at a blistering 244.04. His side secured a third finish on the points table, with four wins from eight games.

The ace batter scored two half-centuries and two centuries, with his highest score of 107* coming off just 39 balls against the Amo Sharks. During this thunderous knock, he managed to hit six fours and a whopping 11 sixes as the Knights chased down a total of 168 in just 11.1 overs. He followed this with a century against the Dragons, scoring 102 off just 41 balls, helping his team win the game by 85 runs.

Despite Gurbaz's exploits, the Knights were unable to make the finals of the competition, recording just nine points from eight matches with four wins and three losses.
