Before talking about the teaser and the details revealed in it, the bigger news is that the company is now accepting bookings for the Brezza facelift. Currently, interested buyers can reserve a Brezza facelift with a booking amount of Rs 11,000. This amount can be paid online via the company’s official website or by visiting the nearest Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership.

It has to be highlighted that the Brezza is sold exclusively via Maruti Suzuki Arena and not Nexa, which is the premium division of Maruti Suzuki. As for the price announcement, Maruti Suzuki will reveal the complete pricing and variant details on July 23, on the official launch date of this SUV. However, before the official launch date, most likely, we will be seeing more teasers and even a full reveal of the design.

Now, speaking of the upcoming teaser, the company has currently released the first teaser of the facelifted iteration of the Brezza. It features Kartik Aaryan, who is the brand ambassador of the Brezza. He has previously been featured in many other commercials of the Brezza as well. This time around, the teaser starts with the actor walking towards the Brezza facelift finished in black.

During his walk, he mentions that, “It’s almost here, something big and something wild. The new kind of Brezza.” In the meantime, the teaser gives us a glimpse of the soon-to-be-launched Brezza facelift from the front, side, and rear. Towards the end, we can note the entire vehicle, but as it passes very quickly, not much can be seen.

Now, coming to the details, which we can note in the video, include the changes on the front fascia. We can note that Maruti Suzuki has kept the same dual projector LED headlights as the current model. These lights also feature the LED DRLs, the same as the outgoing Brezza. Now, what is new on the front end is the red element on the upper grille area. Most likely, we will be seeing a newly designed grille, and there are also red accents on the lower part of the bumper.

Speaking of the bumper, it will most likely be new, and the SUV will also get a bigger silver skid plate. Moving to the side, we can note that the SUV will feature a 360-degree camera, new silver skid plates on the sides over the chunky body claddings, and a new diamond-cut alloy wheel design. The rear end will not be changed much, and it will remain very similar to the current model, with the only exception being a new rear bumper and some other minor changes.

On the inside, the new Brezza is expected to get new upholstery, a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system (currently it gets a 9-inch unit), a fully digital instrument gauge cluster, head-up display, automatic climate control, paddle shifters (automatic variants), and a few other features. The overall dashboard layout and design are expected to remain similar to the outgoing model.

The biggest change that will be seen will be the addition of the new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine. This motor is already seen under the bonnet of the Fronx crossover SUV. It is capable of producing 98 bhp and 147 Nm of torque. Currently, the Brezza is only offered with the K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 101 bhp and 136 Nm of torque.

Presently, the Brezza is offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. However, it is now expected to get a 6-speed manual gearbox as well. Like the Victoris, the new Brezza facelift is also expected to get an underbody-mounted CNG tank. The new placement will help the Brezza CNG save a lot of space in the boot, which will increase the overall luggage capacity.
