The pace of development is continuously increasing in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also releases financial assistance from time to time to ensure that there is no hindrance in the projects under construction. In this series, Chief Minister Dhami has approved financial assistance of Rs 38 crore for the implementation of drinking water, tourism, irrigation schemes run in the state and for the establishment of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Academy in Pauri Garhwal district.
Let us inform that the Chief Minister’s Office has also shared the information about the amount of financial assistance approved by CM Dhami. The Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 12.83 crore for 5 schemes of the Irrigation Department in Chamoli and Almora districts under NABARD funding and Rs 15.06 crore for 7 other schemes of the Irrigation Department.
First installment released for establishment of NCC Academy in Pauri
Apart from this, the Chief Minister has given financial approval of Rs 3.98 crore for the installation of 50 hand pumps and 31 solar panels at various places in Champawat district, Rs 4.96 crore for the upgradation work of tourist accommodation Mukteshwar in Nainital district, as well as Rs 1 crore as the first installment against the revised cost of Rs 50.00 crore for the establishment of NCC Academy in Pauri district.
Approval given to increase DR of pensioners
As per the recommendation of the Fifth and Sixth Central Pay Commission of the State Government, while increasing the rates of dearness relief for civil and family pensioners receiving pension in the applicable pay band and grade pay, the Chief Minister has given approval to increase the dearness relief from 474% to 484% for the pensioners of the fifth pay scale and from 257% to 262% per month for the pensioners of the sixth pay scale from January 1, 2026.
Chief Minister gave instructions to officials
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also said that the state government is committed to the all-round development of the state, strengthening the infrastructure, promoting tourism and the interests of farmers. He directed the officials to ensure that all the approved schemes are implemented in a quality, transparent and timely manner, so that the development works are completed within the stipulated time.
