New Delhi. Currently, the Muslim side has not got relief from the Supreme Court in the Bhojshala case of Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. After the hearing on Bhojshala controversy on Tuesday, the Supreme Court did not stay the decision of Madhya Pradesh High Court for the time being. The Muslim side will not be able to offer namaz in the Bhojshala premises. The bench of CJI Surya Kant, Justice Jaimalya Bagchi and Justice Mohana has said that every Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm, another place near the Bhojshala complex should be given to the Muslim side to offer Namaz. The court said that the Supreme Court has told the ASI that there should be no change in the current condition of the Bhojshala. The next hearing in the Bhojshala case will be held after three weeks.

The Supreme Court has issued notice to all the parties on the petitions filed by the Muslim side in the Bhojshala case. The court has said that it will try to settle the dispute soon. In the Bhojshala case, Muslim side’s lawyer Huzaifa Ahmadi said before the bench that the earlier system has changed due to the order of Madhya Pradesh High Court. He did not even get a chance to appeal in the Supreme Court and was completely excluded from religious activities. Ahmadi said that the High Court should have stayed its order for some time. The Supreme Court also said during the hearing that the ban on Friday prayers on the campus will remain intact. The court also said that this will not be considered as a final arrangement before the final decision.

During the hearing, the CJI said that we had earlier made interim arrangements on the day of Basant Panchami also. We had given permission for worship to both the parties. When the case of Bhojshala was in the High Court. Now the High Court’s decision has come. On this, the Muslim side said that there has been a complete ban on Friday prayers in Bhojshala. We have been thrown out of the premises. However, this argument did not work and the Supreme Court did not allow offering Namaz inside the Bhojshala. During the hearing, the Supreme Court bench also expressed surprise at the order of the Madhya Pradesh High Court to bring back the idol of Goddess Saraswati from the London Museum. Justice Bagchi raised the question that how can a constitutional court give such an order.
