Officers shocked after seeing CCTV
An unusual incident at the First Additional Senior Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka has alerted the court administration. While checking the recordings of the CCTV cameras installed in the court premises, the officials noticed that a 65-year-old woman entered the court room very secretly. She moves straight towards the main seat of justice i.e. the empty chair of the judge and starts performing a strange ritual there." The woman took out something from her pocket and sprinkled it on and around the judge's seat while chanting mantras. Seeing such a tantric ritual in the closed room of the court created panic in the court administration. It was told that the woman had sprinkled white mustard seeds on the chair.
After all, who is that woman and what are the allegations?
According to the police, the arrested woman has been identified as Manjula (65 years). The allegation is that he sprinkled white mustard seeds chanting mantras on the judge's chair as part of an alleged religious or tantric ritual. However, the police have not clarified what the woman's motive was and why she was performing this alleged ritual in the court. At present the investigating agencies are interrogating him.
Mustard and Manjula's dangerous intentions inspired by mantras
In the prompt action taken by the police, this mysterious woman was identified as Manjula (65 years). The things that came to light in the investigation were like a suspense thriller film:
- Secret of White Mustard: The woman had brought with her not ordinary mustard, but white mustard seeds that were allegedly infused with tantra-mantra.
- Justice's chair on target: The main target of the woman was the judge's chair. In Tantra, white mustard is often used to subdue, exalt, or hinder someone.
- Infiltrating directly into the courtroom: The biggest security lapse and the surprising thing was that the woman managed to reach the most sensitive place of justice so easily.
For the security officials, this was not just a matter of superstition, but a direct breach of the dignity and security of the judiciary.
The shackles of superstition and the noose of law
As soon as this horrifying truth came to light, the Chief Administrative Officer of the court immediately lodged a written complaint with the police. The police showed promptness and took the accused woman Manjula into custody. Police said that action is being taken against him under very strict law. A case has been registered against the woman under the 'Karnataka Prevention and Eradication of Inhuman Evil Practices and Black Magic Act, 2017'. Considering the seriousness and security of the case, the court has sent the accused woman to judicial custody for 14 days. This incident reminds us how deeply rooted superstitions are in the society even in this age of science and technology, where people are not shying away from resorting to black magic instead of arguments to win their cases and legal disputes. At present, the police is deeply investigating whether Manjula had taken this step on the instigation of some Tantrik or there is some other big conspiracy hidden behind it.
