The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG-2026). This facility is available for a limited period, and dissatisfied candidates may file an online challenge.
Where can the OMR sheet be viewed?
The NTA has uploaded the scanned images of the OMR answer sheets and the recorded responses for NEET (UG)-2026 to the official website, https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Additionally, for the convenience of candidates, a scanned copy of the OMR sheet has been sent to the registered email address provided during registration. Candidates must use their login credentials to access them. An OTP-based two-factor authentication system has also been implemented to enhance security.
Deadline for filing objections
Candidates have been allowed to file online objections regarding the recorded responses. A non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 has been fixed for challenging each response. The process for challenging recorded responses began on July 13, 2026, and candidates can submit online objections until July 15, 2026. Payment of the fee can be made via debit card, credit card, or net banking. No challenges will be accepted after the stipulated deadline or without the processing fee.
The NTA has clarified that this facility is exclusively for challenging recorded OMR responses. The process for challenging the answer key has already concluded, and no new objections regarding it will be accepted now.
