EPFO 2.01 Portal: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched the EPFO 2.01 Unified Member Portal. All member records have been shifted to a centralized database, enabling the resumption of online services. The new portal simplifies various tasks, ranging from tracking claims to viewing your complete employment history.
What’s new in EPFO 2.01?
The new portal aims to make PF-related tasks faster and easier. You will no longer need to go through separate, repetitive processes for various tasks.
New features:
All member records are now stored in a centralized database.
Claims will undergo automatic pre-validation.
If your UAN is linked to your Aadhaar and you change jobs, your PF can be transferred automatically.
You can view the eligible amount for different claim categories before actually filing a claim.
If there are any discrepancies or queries regarding a claim, you will be notified via both the portal and SMS.
How to check PF claim status?
Whether you filed a claim previously or have just submitted a new application, you can view its status within minutes.
Simply follow these steps:
Visit the EPFO Unified Member Portal.
Log in using your UAN, password, and CAPTCHA.
Click on 'Online Services'.
Select 'Track Claim Status'.
You will then see the following information on the screen:
Details of all past and current claims
The specific form submitted
Date of application
Tracking ID
Current stage of the claim
Information regarding any discrepancies or objections.
How to view your complete employment history?
People often lose track of their past employment details after changing jobs multiple times. In such cases, the 'Service History' feature on the EPFO Unified Member Portal proves very useful.
How to access it:
Log in to the EPFO Unified Member Portal.
Enter your UAN and password.
Complete the login process using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Navigate to the 'Service History' section.
View your complete employment history here and download it if desired.
