Lucknow. The Yogi government of UP on Monday transferred 181 PCS officers as part of a major administrative reshuffle. A total of 363 PCS officers have been transferred in the state within just 12 hours. Under the orders of the government, SDMs of many tehsils have been changed, while some officers have been given new responsibilities.

In the released transfer list, a large number of Deputy District Magistrates (SDMs) have been sent from one district to another, while many officers have been removed from development authorities, municipal corporations and other institutions and given new responsibilities. As part of the transfers, Ayodhya SDM Ram Prasad Tripathi has been sent to Mathura, while Mirzapur SDM Sanjeev Kumar Yadav has been given the responsibility of Ayodhya. Lal Krishna, Officer on Special Duty in Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority, has been made the SDM of Ayodhya.

Kushinagar SDM Vinod Kumar Gupta has also been transferred to Ayodhya. At the same time, new deployment of many officers has been done in Barabanki, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Hardoi, Bulandshahr and other districts.
