The Regal Princess operates out of Galveston, Texas. The cruise line issued a statement confirming their response to the incident and their collaboration with maritime authorities.
According to the statement, the crew member is still unaccounted for. "Princess is working closely with maritime authorities, and search operations are actively continuing," the company noted. They expressed their concern for the crew member and their family, stating, "Our thoughts are with the crew member, their family, and all those impacted by this situation." The cruise line is also providing assistance to its onboard team while maintaining focus on the ongoing search efforts.
