In ‘Jurassic Park’ Dr. Veteran New Zealand actor Sam Neill, who became popular worldwide for his role as Alan Grant, has died at the age of 78. Due to his death, grief is being expressed in the film industry and fans are also shocked.

Sam Neill’s family announced his death through an official statement. He breathed his last in Sydney, Australia on Monday (July 13). His family was with him in his last moments. His family described his death as “sudden and unexpected”.

Interestingly, in 2022, Sam Neill was diagnosed with stage-3 leukemia. However, after treatment, it was reported that he was cancer free in April this year. In their statement, the family also thanked the doctors and staff of St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Sydney, explaining that he was cancer-free.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sam Neill. He breathed his last in peace with the dignity and courage with which he lived his life,” the statement said.

Sam Neill started his acting career with the movie ‘Sleeping Dogs’ released in 1977. However, in the movie ‘Jurassic Park’ directed by Steven Spielberg in 1993, Dr. He gained global recognition for his role as Alan Grant. After that, he played the same role in the films ‘Jurassic Park III’ (2001) and ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ (2022) and won the hearts of the audience.
