Threat to blow up Noida DM office, panic created after receiving e-mail

Lucknow: The DM office of Gautam Buddha Nagar has received a bomb threat through e-mail, after which there is panic in the administration and police. However, as soon as the information was received, security agencies reached the spot and a search operation was started.

Investigation conducted inside the office premises

According to police officials, on July 13, the DM office received information about a bomb through e-mail. As soon as the information was received, Surajpur police station reached the spot and following the security standards, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), Dog Squad, Anti-Sabotage Team and Fire Brigade were called. After this, all the areas inside and around the office premises were carefully examined.

During the search operation that lasted for several hours, security agencies searched every possible place, but till now no suspicious object or explosive has been recovered. Police say that at present the situation is completely normal and security arrangements have been tightened in the office premises.

Who sent the threat?

Taking the threatening e-mail seriously, cyber experts have also been involved in the investigation. Police is doing technical analysis to identify the sender of the e-mail. Along with this, the source of the e-mail, IP address and other digital evidence are being investigated as part of the investigation, so that it can be found out from where and who sent the threat. Officials say that the case is being investigated from every aspect and once the culprit is identified, legal action will be taken against him. At the same time, security agencies are on alert mode to deal with any such situation in future.

Appeal not to pay attention to rumors

Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has appealed to the citizens not to believe any kind of rumors regarding this matter. According to the police, the situation is completely under control and there is no need for the common people to panic. The administration has clarified that the investigation is ongoing, while regular government work is being conducted normally amid security arrangements in the DM office.
