24After losing badly in the five-match T20 series against England, the Indian cricket team will now play a three-match ODI series against the host team. After this, Team India will go to Zimbabwe for a three-match T20 series. Bowling all-rounder Harshit Rana and mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty are both out of the series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now announced the replacement of these two players.
However, BCCI has not replaced Chakraborty and Rana with any new players, but has included those players who were part of the embarrassing T20 series defeat against England. Leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi and young fast bowler Prince Yadav have been included in Team India’s squad for the England ODI series and Zimbabwe T20 series as replacements for Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty.
