Delhi Directorate of Education has released the second merit list for EWS and deprived class admission. This time 8,976 children have been selected. Parents can check their child’s selection by downloading the PDF from the official website.

New Delhi: Under Delhi EWS Admission Result 2026, Directorate of Education (DoE) has released the second merit list for admission in Nursery, KG, Class 1 and Class 2. The list of selected candidates has been made available online. Parents who had applied can check the result of their child by visiting the official website or contacting the concerned school.

Second merit list released, 8,976 children got a chance

Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi has declared the result of the second digital draw for EWS, DG and deprived category students. A total of 8,976 children have been selected in this draw for admission in various private schools.

The merit list has been prepared completely through digital draw system, thereby making the admission process transparent.

What information will be available in the merit list?

The registration number, respective class and school ID of each selected student has been recorded in the list released. Parents are advised to check the details of their child carefully and complete the admission process within the stipulated time.

If any student’s name is in the list, he/she has to report to the respective school with the required documents.

To see the second merit list, first visit the official website of the Directorate of Education. edudel.nic.in Go to.

Click on the Second Draw Result link available in the What’s New section on the home page. After this the PDF of the concerned class will open. Parents can check the selection status by searching their child’s registration number.

Apart from this, admission information can also be obtained by visiting the school for which the application was made.

What needs to be done next?

Parents of students selected in the second merit list will have to complete the admission process by submitting all the necessary documents to the concerned school within the stipulated time limit.
