Chickpea Breakfast Recipe
Step 1- First of all, soak the chickpeas in water overnight. In the morning, boil the chickpeas for 4-5 whistles and drain the water. Now add 1 teaspoon mustard oil in a pan. Add curry leaves, asafoetida and mustard seeds to it. Add dry spices like salt, turmeric and red chilli. Now add chickpeas to it and mix.
Second step- In a bowl, finely chop cucumber, onion, tomato, green chilli, carrot and beetroot. Now add spiced chickpeas to it. Mix well and then add finely chopped green chillies and coriander.
Third step- Prepare a chutney for this. Add mint, coriander, ice cubes, 2 spoons of curd, some soaked walnuts, salt and cumin to the chutney and grind the chutney. Add this chutney to small chaat as per taste. Pour some lemon juice on top and enjoy it.
This breakfast is best for those who want to lose weight. You can eat it even after filling your stomach. The best thing is that it can be prepared with very little oil and spices. This breakfast can also be given to children by preparing it in tiffin. By eating this you will not feel hungry for a long time and your stomach will also remain full.
