Hisporty | July 12, 2026 1:39 PM CST

Henry Patten became the first British man in the Open Era to win two Wimbledon men’s doubles titles after he and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara defeated Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic 7-6(4), 7-6(3) in the 2026 final.

The top seeds successfully defended their crown in a high-quality contest without a single break point, winning behind a dominant serving display. Patten sealed victory with an ace, securing the pair’s third Grand Slam title together after Wimbledon 2024 and the 2025 Australian Open. Heliovaara and Patten also became the first men’s doubles team since Bob and Mike Bryan in 2011 to win multiple Wimbledon titles.

Patten is now the first British men’s doubles player in the Open Era to lift the Wimbledon trophy twice.
