New Delhi: Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon made time for Mumbai’s celebrated food scene during their visit to India, stopping by the city’s iconic seafood restaurant, Trishna, between promotional events for The Odyssey.
The filmmaker and actor recently travelled to Mumbai, along with Tom Holland, for the Indian premiere of The Odyssey at PVR ICON IMAX, Phoenix Palladium. The two-day promotional event was held on July 10 and 11, ahead of the film’s worldwide release on July 17.
Sharing glimpses of their visit, Trishna posted a photograph on its official Instagram account featuring Nolan and Damon with the restaurant’s co-owner, Ruchit Anchan.

Situated in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda neighbourhood, Trishna has built a reputation as one of the city’s most popular seafood destinations. Despite its simple interiors, the restaurant continues to draw locals and tourists alike for its coastal cuisine.
A signature experience at the restaurant is the live selection of jumbo crab, where diners can choose both the crab and their preferred style of preparation.
