Datia By-election 2026: Political activity is intensifying regarding the Datia Assembly by-election of Madhya Pradesh. After the controversy regarding ticket distribution, now a big statement has come from former minister and BJP leader Narottam Mishra. After reaching Bhopal, he has appealed to his workers and supporters to maintain patience.

Former minister Narottam Mishra said that the workers are his own and they should maintain patience and restraint. He appealed and said that workers and supporters should present their views as per the prescribed procedure at the party forum. He is confident that all the workers will agree to his point. Along with this, on the question asked about campaigning in the by-election, Narottam Mishra said, I will definitely be in the election campaign.
He further said, I will do whatever the party says. I have no resentment towards anyone. On the question of when did he get the information about ticket cancellation, he said smilingly that when you came to know, then I also came to know.
