Knews Desk– There is tremendous enthusiasm about Apple’s iPhone 17 in the Indian smartphone market. Due to talks of possible price hike and limited availability of some variants, a large number of customers are buying phones without waiting for any offer or discount. Although Apple has not yet increased the price of iPhone 17, but after the recent increase in the prices of MacBook, iPad and other Apple products, there is a perception among the people that the iPhone may also become expensive in the coming time. This is the reason why its demand has increased rapidly in the market and crowd of customers is being seen at retail stores in many cities.

Market experts say that fears of price rise have had a direct impact on sales. Many retailers are advising customers through phone calls, messages and social media not to wait too long if they are planning to buy the iPhone 17. Due to this, many people are buying the phone even after paying the full price. On the other hand, some storage variants and color options of iPhone 17 have been available in limited numbers for the last few days. Not all models are easily available even on online platforms, while despite offers on select variants, many customers are turning to offline stores if they are unable to find the model of their choice. This has also increased the pressure on supply in the market. Recently, Apple has increased the prices of MacBook, iPad and some smart home devices, although the company has not announced any change in the price of iPhone 17. Despite this, customers feel that if other Apple products become expensive then the price of iPhone may also increase in the future. This apprehension has further strengthened the existing demand. According to market research experts, there has been a good growth in iPhone sales during April to June and initial estimates show that Apple’s shipments during this period were higher than the same quarter last year. Promotional offers and festive campaigns run on e-commerce platforms have also boosted sales.

Supply chain experts say that the cost of manufacturing smartphones is continuously increasing. Critical components like memory and storage modules have become more expensive than before, while the availability of some essential parts also remains limited. This has increased pressure on production costs. At present, Apple has not changed the price of iPhone 17, but considering the rising costs and market conditions, there is speculation about a price increase in the future. At the same time, iPhone 17 Pro Max has features like 48MP triple camera, 4x periscope telephoto lens, LiDAR sensor, Dolby Vision HDR, ProRes RAW and special video recording, due to which it is being considered an attractive option for content creators as well. Its current price is said to be Rs 1,49,900.
