
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in her letter sent to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta that in reference to the request letter sent by her, approval has been given for the stoppage of two trains at Adarsh Nagar railway station. As per the approval, train number 14331 Delhi-Kalka Express and train number 14053 Delhi-Daulatpur Chowk Himachal Express will now also stop at Adarsh Nagar railway station.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on this decision, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is giving top priority to the daily needs of the citizens and public facilities.
The Chief Minister said that the stoppage of Delhi-Kalka Express at Adarsh Nagar will directly benefit the passengers traveling to Kurukshetra, Chandigarh and Kalka. Also, this facility will prove to be very useful for the tourists going to various tourist places of Himachal Pradesh.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi Government is continuously working to provide better facilities to the citizens by coordinating with the Central Government on every issue to public interest.
Approval of stoppage of these two trains at Adarsh Nagar railway station is an important step in this direction, which will directly benefit a large number of passengers every day.
