Tezzbuzz Desk- Another premium phone is going to enter the smartphone market. Motorola launches its new flagship smartphone in India Motorola Edge 70 Max Launch date has been confirmed. The company has shared information about the design and many special features of the phone through the microsite released on Flipkart. This smartphone can be the most powerful model of Motorola Edge 70 series. It is expected to have features like powerful processor, large battery, high refresh rate display and advanced cooling system.
According to the Flipkart listing, Motorola Edge 70 Max will be launched in India on July 15, 2026 at 12 noon. After launch, this smartphone will be available for sale through Flipkart. According to the teaser that surfaced, the phone will have a flat display with thin bezels. A square shaped camera module is visible on its back panel. The smartphone can be offered in light blue and green color options.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor will be provided for performance in Motorola Edge 70 Max. According to the company, this chipset will provide better capabilities for AI based features and high performance tasks. The phone is expected to get up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Apart from this, on-device AI processing support will also be provided, due to which many smart features will be able to work on the phone without internet.
To prevent the phone from heating up during prolonged gaming or high performance use, it will be provided with ArcticMesh cooling system. It has come to light that a vapor cooling chamber of about 5,500 square millimeters was found in it. This system will help in controlling the temperature of the phone and maintaining better performance.
The display of Motorola Edge 70 Max will be one of its major features. It will have a Quad-HD+ LTPO display, which will support 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the display can be up to 7,000 nits. It is expected to have Corning Gorilla Glass 7i to protect the screen. Apart from this, the phone will include features like 10-bit color output, DCI-P3 color gamut, 95.12 percent screen-to-body ratio. According to the company, games like BGMI can be played up to 120fps in this phone.
Motorola Edge 70 Max will also be quite powerful in terms of battery. It will be provided with a large battery of 7,100mAh, which according to the company will be capable of providing a backup of up to 58 hours. For charging, the phone will have 90W TurboPower fast charging support. Apart from this, magnetic wireless charging feature will also be provided in it, which can make it special in this segment.
Motorola has not yet shared the camera specifications and price of Edge 70 Max. It is expected that during the launch event, the company will reveal the camera features, storage variants and Indian price of the phone. With a powerful processor, large battery, high refresh rate display and premium design, Motorola Edge 70 Max can compete with OnePlus, Samsung and other flagship smartphones in the market.
