Indian team’s ODI and Test team captain Gill has received a special invitation to watch the match from the Royal Box of Wimbledon. This is considered a matter of great honor for any player.

With this special honour, Gill has now joined the list of select Indian cricket captains who have got the opportunity to watch the match sitting in the Royal Box of Wimbledon. Before this, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have received this honour.

Gill had come to enjoy Formula-1 before tennis

Before reaching Wimbledon, Gill also enjoyed the British Grand Prix. He had arrived at the Silverstone Circuit as a VIP guest, where he saw the thrill of Formula 1 closely for the first time.

Gill got a chance to go to the paddock area at Silverstone. He met many people associated with Formula 1 and had a special experience of one of the biggest motorsport races in the world.
