World No.1 Jannik Sinner made light work of the legendary Novak Djokovic as he romped to a straight sets victory at Centre Court in the semi-finals. Djokovic who played a 5 hour marathon in the quarters, clearly looked out of pace, crumbling to defeat without a fight. Sinner will now hope to defend his title in the Wimbledon 2026 final where he will face Alexander Zverev.

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner delivered a commanding performance to defeat seven-time champion Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the Wimbledon men's singles semifinal on Friday. The defending champion controlled the match from start to finish with relentless serving and clean ball-striking. The victory sends the Italian into his second consecutive final at the All England Club.

Sinner was virtually untouchable behind his serve, hammering 16 aces and avoiding a single double fault throughout the contest. He won 88 per cent of points on his first serve and consistently denied Djokovic any rhythm on return. The top seed also won 62 per cent of second-serve points, comfortably outperforming the Serbian's 41 per cent.

The Italian converted three of his 13 break-point opportunities, but each break proved decisive in a match where chances were scarce. He wrapped up all three sets by an identical 6-4 scoreline, never allowing Djokovic to seize momentum. Djokovic failed to convert his only break-point opportunity of the match.

Sinner's all-round dominance was reflected in the numbers as he won 103 points to Djokovic's 81 and claimed 41 receiving points compared to just 17 for his opponent. Djokovic managed eight aces but committed three double faults and struggled to apply sustained pressure on the world No. 1. The Serbian's bid for an eighth Wimbledon crown and another Centre Court final ended in emphatic fashion.
