ITV Line-up: Pundits, Commentators and Presenters for France vs Morocco World Cup Quarter-Final

France and Morocco are set to face off once again, almost mirroring their 2022 semi-final clash — only this time, it happens one stage earlier in North America.

There’s plenty of history at stake for both teams. Morocco have the chance to reach a second successive semi-final, while France aim to continue their remarkable run towards a third consecutive World Cup final.

Morocco have faced the tougher route so far, edging past the Netherlands in a tense penalty shootout. Now, the question remains — can they pull off another upset against a French side considered favourites to lift the trophy?

Kylian Mbappe continues to be the standout performer for France, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in World Cup history. His performances have been nothing short of exceptional, as he seeks to further enhance his already glittering career on the global stage.

Morocco, however, are not without their own stars. Ismael Saibari has been a game-changer for them, supported by a group of technically gifted and clinical players. Despite their quality, the North African side still face the daunting task of competing against France’s extraordinarily talented squad.

The quarter-final match is scheduled to kick off at 9pm BST, live on ITV, from the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

ITV’s broadcast team features some of football’s most recognisable figures. Leading the punditry line-up is Ian Wright — a Match of the Day regular and one of the Premier League’s finest former strikers, known for his lively energy and expert insight.

Joining him is Roy Keane, the former Republic of Ireland captain and Manchester United legend, whose sharp wit and uncompromising opinions have made him one of the most engaging voices in football analysis.

Also on the panel is Patrick Vieira, the ex-Arsenal midfielder and French football icon, who played a pivotal role in the club’s historic ‘Invincibles’ Premier League triumph. His inclusion marks a slight shift from ITV’s usual combination of Wright, Keane, and Gary Neville, but Vieira’s tactical knowledge and articulate commentary consistently stand out among British broadcasters.

Providing the live commentary for the match will be Jon Champion, one of the most respected voices in football broadcasting. He will be accompanied by Ally McCoist, whose humour and deep understanding of the game make him a fan favourite as co-commentator.
