Beijing, 9 July 2026: There is a huge stir around the world regarding the best and safe use of Artificial Intelligence technology, while China is seen in a very aggressive mood in this race regarding the security of its advanced AI models. The biggest challenge facing China right now is that its advanced and secret technology is not stolen or leaked by foreign powers. According to reports in this context, Chinese authorities have recently held a series of closed-door meetings with the country’s leading technology companies and startups. The main objective of this high-level brainstorming is to keep China’s most powerful and advanced AI models within the country’s borders and prevent them from falling into foreign hands.
According to sources of the international news organization, representatives of leading companies like Alibaba, ByteDance and emerging startup Z.AI participated in these meetings. Due to the success of China’s ‘DeepSeq A21’ model in the global market and its ability to demonstrate amazing capabilities at low cost, the demand for this technology is increasing all over the world. Officials from China’s Ministry of Commerce and National Development and Reform Commission have clearly indicated that any leak or export of proprietary AI technology would constitute a serious crime under China’s strict national security law. Additionally, there are also discussions underway to impose strict limits on foreign funding of local AI startups.

technology cold war begins
On the other hand, America is also considering Artificial Intelligence as a national asset and imposing sanctions against countries like China and Russia, due to which a ‘Technology Cold War’ has started between the two superpowers. America has recently banned foreign access to its advanced AI models ‘Fable’ and ‘Mythos’. Chinese officials are particularly concerned about the capabilities of American cybersecurity software ‘Mythos’ and fear that Washington could use the technology against China’s interests. To maintain its autonomy, it has also ordered the cancellation of the billion-dollar acquisition of local startup Manas by China Meta Company. The Chinese government is now closely investigating all local projects that have violated export control laws in the past, so that China’s AI power can remain invincible in the future.
