The Bagaluru police in Bengaluru have registered a murder case against Narayana, a physical education teacher at a residential school, after a 12-year-old boy died on Wednesday morning under mysterious circumstances.

While the school authorities claim that the boy, Gurukiran, collapsed during morning jogging, the parents and some of the students alleged that he was assaulted by the physical education teacher, leading to his death.

The preliminary examination by the doctors has revealed that the boy died due to cardiac arrest, but the exact reason will be known only after the complete post-mortem report is made available.

Gurukiran's parents lived in Subedar Palya, and he was studying in the 6th standard at Sterling English Boarding School. On Wednesday morning, at around 6 am, Gurukiran's father, Raghavendra, received a call from the school saying that his son had collapsed during the morning jogging.
