Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana have been ruled out of the IND vs ENG 4th T20I after suffering from injuries. Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna replaced the two. who were dropped from the playing XI after they failed in the series opener against Ireland last month. India captain Shreyas Iyer didn’t reveal the reasons behind the fitness concerns. Meanwhile, India won the toss and elected to bat first.

“We are batting first as the wicket looks good. We have played fearless cricket, but the execution is missing. It is important to adapt to the conditions as quickly as possible and then plan accordingly. If these things are sorted, the win can come your way. We have two changes. Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana are injured, and Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna have replaced the two,” Shreyas Iyer said.

England skipper Harry Brook would have batted had he won the toss. “We wanted to bat first. Really happy with the performance of the players. We were awesome in the last game. It would be nice if we win the series today. It is important to adapt to the conditions. We have one change, with Rehan Ahmed coming in for Liam Dawson,” Harry Brook said.

England are leading the series 2-0, having won the second and third T20Is so far. The first contest was called off due to rain. On the other hand, the Men in Blue will have to win two matches to level the series.
