SAIL Young Professional Recruitment 2026: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has issued a recruitment notification (Advertisement No. RSP/R-YP/2026-01) for a total of 23 Young Professional (YP-1, YP-2, and YP-3) positions. Appointments will be made on a fixed-term basis.
These positions will be filled at the Rourkela Steel Plant (Odisha), Management Training Institute (Ranchi), SAIL Safety Organization (Ranchi), and SAIL Digital Transformation Division (Ranchi).

Who can apply?
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Candidates must be at least 23 years old and possess the mandatory educational qualifications and work experience required for the specific post.
Various qualifications have been prescribed for different posts, including BE/B.Tech, MCA, MBA (Finance/HR), CA, CMA, Graduation, and Instructional Design certification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field is required for most posts, while 6 to 10 years of experience is sought for certain senior positions.
All experience must have been gained after obtaining the relevant degree in a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), government organization, public limited company, PSU joint venture, or a private company with a valid CIN.

What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive an attractive monthly honorarium.

Additionally, an annual increment of up to 4%, 7%, or 10% may be granted based on performance. Facilities such as accommodation, medical facilities, travel allowance, and reimbursement of communication expenses will also be provided.
What is the selection process?
Candidates will be selected through multiple stages.
Initial screening of applications
Computer-Based Test (CBT) and personal interview, or personal interview only, depending on the post
The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
There will be 50 questions on technical subjects and 50 questions on aptitude.
Candidates will be called for the interview in a 1:3 ratio based on the CBT results.
The weightage for the CBT and interview in the final merit list will be 80:20.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for candidates across all categories is set at ₹500. The fee must be paid online via net banking, credit card, or debit card. The fee paid is non-refundable.
