PM Kisan 24th Installment: ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’ (PM Kisan Yojana) is no less than a great support for crores of farmers of the country. Under this very popular government scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to eligible farmers every year. This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of farmers in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
The government had recently released the 23rd installment of this scheme on June 20, 2026, which directly benefited more than 9 crore farmers. Now, after receiving the 23rd installment, the eyes of the farmers are fixed on the next installment. The biggest question in the minds of food providers at this time is that when will the 24th installment of PM Kisan come?
When can the 24th installment of PM Kisan be released?
At present, no official date has been announced by the Central Government regarding the 24th installment. But if we look at the past trend and payment pattern of this scheme, there is usually a gap of about four months between each installment.
Since the 23rd installment was released on June 20, 2026, this gap of four months is being completed in October 2026. Accordingly, it is expected that the government can transfer the 24th installment to the accounts of farmers in October 2026. However, this is a possible time; The exact date will be confirmed only after the official announcement by the government.
When does PM Kisan installment come in a year?
According to the rules of this scheme, Rs 6,000 that farmers receive annually is divided into three parts:
- first installment
- second installment
- third installment
Normally, the government sends the money for these installments directly to the bank accounts of farmers (through DBT) every four months.
eKYC is most important
The government has made eKYC mandatory for all beneficiaries. If your eKYC is not complete, the next installment will not be credited to your account. You can accomplish this in these three easy ways:

- Face Authentication: You can also do eKYC sitting at home by downloading ‘PM Kisan App’ in your mobile and doing face scan (Face Authentication).
- CSC Centre: If you are facing difficulty in doing it yourself, then go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and get it updated through biometric (thumb impression).
It is mandatory to link Aadhaar with bank account.
PM Kisan Yojana money is sent directly to bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). For this, it is very important to link your bank account with Aadhaar (Aadhaar-Bank Linking).
Verification of land documents
If there is any discrepancy in your land records or ‘Land Seeding’ is showing No, then your installment may go on hold. To get it repaired, immediately contact your nearest block or district agriculture office.
