Once again bureaucratic reshuffle (IAS Transfer) has been seen in Punjab. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government has transferred 8 IAS officers. Changes have also been made in the charge of many posts including Personnel Secretary and Municipal Corporation Commissioner. The order to transfer and appointment has been issued by Chief Secretary K KAP Singh on July 8, which has come into effect with immediate effect.
IAS officer Neelima has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Personnel. Apart from this, he has also been given the additional charge of the post of Vigilance Secretary. Earlier she was working as Secretary of Home Affairs. Sakshi Sawhney has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare along with the post of Mission Director National Health Mission Punjab and Nodal Officer Anti Drug Campaign. Sanyam Aggarwal has been acquitted of additional charges.
Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Commissioner changed
Sandeep Rishi has been removed from the post of Commissioner of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation. His services have been offered to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for appointment to the post of Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar. Vikas Kumar has been given the responsibility of the post of Commissioner Jalandhar Municipal Corporation. His services have also been given to the Department of Local Government for appointment. Before this he was working as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Hoshiarpur.

- Parminder Pal Singh has been appointed to the post of Special Secretary, Home Affairs. Who was earlier working as Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training.
- Neeru Katiyal Gupta, working as Special Secretary, General Administration and Coordination, has been sent to the post of Chief Administrator of Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority. His services have been offered for appointment to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Apart from this, he has also been appointed to the post of Director Town and Country Planning.
- IAS officer Sonam has been sent to the post of Additional Commissioner Taxation-1 Patiala. Apart from this, he has also been given the responsibility of the post of Commissioner Municipal Corporation Patiala.
- Rakesh Kumar Meena has been appointed to the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner Rural Development, Hoshiarpur, who was earlier working as Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bathinda.
