Price and Range: How much fits into your budget?

Komaki has introduced both these models at very aggressive prices. The price of Komaki MG Pro V has been fixed at Rs 73,999 in Delhi ex-showroom. At the same time, the more powerful variant Komaki MG Pro+ has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 79,999. These scooters are available in four attractive color options like Black, Frost White, Garnet Red and Metal Grey.

There is a clear difference between the two scooters in terms of battery and mileage (range):

  • MG Pro V: It has a 2.2kWh battery, which gives a range of 90 to 100 kilometers on a single charge.
  • MG Pro+: It gets a larger 2.7kWh battery pack, which claims to offer a range of more than 150 kilometers on a full charge.

Advanced features and strong safety reinforcements

Modern technology has been used in both the scooters. These have a 2.2 kW BLDC hub motor, through which both the scooters can reach a top speed of 60 km/h. LiFePO4 (LiPo 4) batteries have been used in these scooters, which are considered safer and longer life than common lithium-ion batteries. It takes only 4 hours for them to be fully charged.

To make the ride safe and comfortable, disc brakes are provided at the front and drum brakes at the rear. To avoid shocks, telescopic suspension is available at the front and twin shockers at the rear. Apart from this, the company has given a special ‘repair switch’ (auto-repair feature) in it, which automatically diagnoses and fixes minor technical problems.

Company’s official statement

Warranty and impact on customers

It has emerged as a good option for middle class families and local residents who go to office or market daily. Amidst the rising prices of petrol, getting a range of up to 150 kilometers in the range of Rs 75 thousand will give a big relief to the pockets of the general public. To win the trust of customers, the company is giving 3 years or 30,000 km warranty on the battery, motor and controller unit of these scooters, while 1 year warranty will be available on the charger.
