Police have started investigation into the incident after a dead body of a laborer was found under a bridge in Nalanda district of Bihar. Looking at the condition of the body, initially the incident seems suspicious. It is being claimed that the body of the deceased has multiple injury marks from knife-like weapons and his head was found buried in a hole. On receiving the news, local residents rushed to the spot. Later the police reached the spot and started investigation around the area.

Police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. In the preliminary investigation, many important clues have been collected from the spot. The forensic team also visited the spot and collected blood stains, soil and other possible evidence to determine the actual cause of death.

The wife of the deceased claimed that the incident was a murder. According to her, her husband had no enmity with anyone. The family was leading a normal life and was not aware of any conflict. He appealed to the police to demand an impartial investigation and immediate arrest of the accused.

Family members claim that the deceased used to work as a laborer to support the family. The family was saddened when he was found dead in this manner. After receiving news of the incident, relatives and village residents also reached the spot.

According to police officials, investigation is being done from every aspect of the incident. It remains to be seen whether the murder took place at the spot itself, or whether the body was thrown under the bridge after the murder somewhere else. Efforts are underway to find the source of the incident on the basis of CCTV camera footage nearby and interrogation of local residents.

The investigating team is also interrogating the deceased’s call details, recent movements, known persons and people associated with his workplace. Efforts are being made to find out with whom the deceased person had contact with before the incident and where was his last location. The investigation is being carried forward by combining this information with technical evidence.

According to the police, the coroner’s report will play an important role in this case. Through this, it is hoped to get a clear idea about the exact time of death, nature of injury and actual cause of death. After receiving the report, further directions of investigation and legal action will be decided.

After the incident, an atmosphere of panic and anger has been created in the area. Local residents appealed to the administration to immediately unravel the mystery of the incident and arrest the accused. Police have assured that investigation will be conducted impartially and no culprit will be spared.
