Ram Mandir Trust accepts Champat Rai, Anil Mishra’s resignations amid donation embezzlement probe

Ayodhya: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has accepted the resignations of its General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra in connection with the ongoing probe into the alleged embezzlement of Ram Mandir donations, Govind Dev Giri, Treasurer of the Ram Mandir Trust told. Trust Accepts Resignations

Speaking to Tezzbuzz News, Govind Dev Giri said the Trust had formally accepted the resignations submitted by Champat Rai and Anil Mishra.

The two office-bearers had stepped down following the emergence of the alleged donation embezzlement case, which is currently under investigation.

Probe Into Alleged Donation Embezzlement

The alleged irregularities relate to the handling of donations received at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The matter came under scrutiny after allegations of embezzlement surfaced, prompting an investigation by the authorities.

Several arrests have already been made in connection with the case, and investigators are continuing to examine the alleged financial irregularities.

Trust Reviews Administrative Changes

The acceptance of the resignations is expected to pave the way for administrative changes within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

The Trust is also expected to take decisions regarding appointments to the vacant posts as part of its efforts to ensure the smooth functioning of temple administration while the investigation continues.
