An important update has been released for the lakhs of candidates awaiting the 2026 Second Grade Teacher recruitment exam in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued the exam city intimation slip for the Senior Teacher recruitment examination. Candidates can now log in to the official website or the SSO portal to find out which city their exam will be held in. The Commission has clarified that this slip is issued solely to provide information regarding the exam city. Admit cards will be released separately three days before the exam date.

Candidates who have applied for this recruitment can download their exam city slip by visiting the official RPSC website or the Rajasthan SSO portal. This will allow candidates to make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.

**Recruitment for 9,651 Posts; Exam from July 12 to July 18**
Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made for a total of 9,651 Senior Teacher posts in the Secondary Education Department. Initially, the Commission had announced recruitment for 6,500 posts, but the number of vacancies was subsequently increased. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode from July 12 to July 18, 2026. The exam will take place in two shifts daily; the first shift will begin at 10:00 AM, and the second shift will start at 3:00 PM.

**New Rules Regarding Admit Cards and the Exam**
According to the Commission, the exam city slip is not the admit card. The actual admit cards, containing the full address of the exam center, will be released three days before the exam. The main gate of the exam center will be closed one hour before the exam begins, and no candidate will be granted entry after that time.

For this exam, a fifth option has been provided on the OMR sheet for answering questions. Candidates will receive an additional 10 minutes per paper to mark this option. Additionally, a negative marking scheme of one-third (1/3) of a mark will apply.
