In the World Cup, England entered the quarter-finals by defeating host Mexico 3-2. Jude Bellingham scored 2 goals. Now England will face Norway.
Mexico City: In one of the most exciting matches in the history of the World Cup, England defeated host Mexico 3-2 at home and entered the quarter-finals. Jude Bellingham scored two goals and Harry Kane scored one goal for the England team, known as 'Three Lions'. Meanwhile, Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez scored goals for Mexico. The match was so tense that the referee had to show 6 yellow cards and one red card.

Bellingham's double blast
The foundation of England's victory was laid by Jude Bellingham, who put Mexico on the back foot by scoring two goals in just 98 seconds in the first half. This defeat is huge for Mexico, as it was only their third defeat in the last 90 matches at their home ground, Azteca Stadium. The team had to play with only 10 players after England player Jarrel Kwansa received a red card during the match. Coach Thomas Tukel's team achieved a spectacular victory despite these challenges.
The geographical location of the Azteca stadium, i.e. being very high above sea level, was also a major challenge for the players. But the England team made no mistakes in converting the chances into goals and this brilliant finishing broke Mexico's World Cup dream.
There will be a clash with Norway in the quarter finals
With this victory, England has reached the quarter-finals, where they will face Erling Holland's strong team Norway. The England team is dreaming of winning a major tournament after a long wait of 60 years, and this match against Norway will be a big test for them.
